We offer CNC, precision, vertical, and horizontal milling services working with materials such as ABS, Acetal, Nylon, HDPE, Aluminum, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Super Alloys, and many more. With four HCN-5000 Horizontal Machining Centers, we can meet our customers’ endless production needs. 

We also have a 50 Taper VTC-250D Vertical Machining Center that can handle up to 69” in travel length with 4-axis milling and drilling capabilities. With this machining center, we can machine parts hundreds of inches in length, as it features a fixed table that creates a stationary fixture environment for optimal rigidity and accuracy. Most of our Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers have 4-axis milling capabilities for extra accuracy and capabilities.

To meet the needs of various industries, we offer several job shop services that include CNC Machining, Turning, and Milling with 3, 4, and 5-Axis capabilities.  We can accommodate production volumes ranging from prototype to high production for workpieces up to 20 inches in diameter and 69 inches in length. Abston Machine Shop, Inc. also provides secondary services for plating and paint specifications through approved vendors.

Abston Machine Shop, Inc. is a high-production machining shop with 25 Mazak CNC Machines. We have the capability to do 3, 4, and 5-axis machining with Integrex, Quick Turn Mill-Turns, and Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers. Our largest Integrex can swing over 20 inches in diameter and 60 inches between spindles and has 5-axis capabilities.

At Abston Machine Shop, Inc., our vast turning capabilities include CNC and precision turning services using a wide range of metal and plastic materials. We have 4 Mazak Mill-Turns that are equipped with bar feeders for unmanned high production, and 3 have Y-axis capabilities of  +/- 2” off center for milling and tapping customized parts.  

Our largest Multi-Tasking machine, “The Integrex,” can swing over 20 inches in diameter and 60 inches between spindles and has 5-axis capabilities. We turn products for applications including mining component parts, all types of military system replacement parts, medical equipment, fresh and sea water boating equipment, and more.
